What Does Unmanaged mean?

What does unmanaged mean?

To keep our server rental costs as low as possible and because most clients want to manage their own servers, our published packages on the vps page do not include a management service.

In essence this means that we will initially install an up-to-date version of your chosen operating system, set your requested administrator / root password and then hand over full control to yourself.

From this point forward our management responsibility is limited to diagnosing and repairing hardware related faults only, we are not responsible for installing / diagnosing issues with third party software.

If you do not feel comfortable managing your server yourself then please contact us to discuss a server management package.
